These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SkillJet.co (the “Service”) operated by SkillJet.co (“SkillJet,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using any feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, infringes others’ rights, or contains malware.
• Attempt to access another user’s data, reverse-engineer the Service, or overload our systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use AI-generated outputs to deceive an academic institution about authorship in violation of its policies.

4. AI-generated content & disclaimers

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, study plans, audits, and other outputs. AI can make mistakes. AI-generated content is for study and preparation purposes only and is not professional, legal, engineering, or safety advice. You must independently verify any code reference, calculation, or factual claim before relying on it in the field or in an exam. SkillJet is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

5. Your content & licenses

• You retain ownership of the essays, documents, recordings, and other content you upload.
• You grant SkillJet a limited license to process your content solely to provide the feature you requested, including transmitting it to our AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload any content you submit.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated patterns to improve the Service, but never in a way that identifies you or your content.

6. Payments, subscriptions & refunds

• Some features require payment (subscriptions, single-discipline access, or coin packages). Prices are shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your card details.
• One-time purchases and coin packages are generally non-refundable once consumed. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period.
• If you believe a charge is erroneous, contact us within 14 days and we will review it in good faith.
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice; existing paid periods are honored at the price already paid.

7. Coin balance

Some features consume a virtual coin balance. Coins have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire if your account is closed. We may grant bonus coins at our discretion (for example, at registration), and these may carry their own expiry terms communicated at the time of grant.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, question banks, scenarios, and brand, is owned by SkillJet and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, or republish Service content without our written permission. Your uploaded content remains yours as set out in Section 5.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result (including exam success) will be achieved. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillJet and its affiliates, officers, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or exam results, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SkillJet harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your uploaded content.

12. Termination & account deletion

• You may delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or create legal or security risk.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law & disputes
